Protective fasteners are intended to fix the crossbars of the shelves.
Properly hooked into the racks, the crossbars are really strong. If there is a risk that passers-by will mechanically push out the shelves, or if the racks are pushed or installed in vehicles, the shelves can be additionally fixed.
The fixator is placed from the outside of the stand, through the perforated holes for hanging the shelves. After inserting the retainer, its end protruding above the crossbar on the inside must be bent. To remove the latch, the bent end will need to be folded back.
