Attaching this mount at the correct height low will lock the rear wheel of a horizontally mounted bike, and mounting it higher will lock the front wheel of an upright bike. The holder only fixes the bike tire, so you won't damage the bike.

The compact, black polypropylene holder also has holes for fixing a flexible bicycle lock, so you can also lock a bicycle fixed in this holder.
