Description
The wire latch prevents the drawers from opening without lifting the latch. They are extremely useful when installing drawer units in cars - they protect them from opening when the car is moving. Catches also make it difficult to open drawers without being noticed, so they help protect against theft.
The retainer is inserted into the holes on the sides of the drawer block, slightly widening it.
