Melamine dishes combine the best features of porcelain and plastic dishes - they are light, but strong, scratch-resistant. These dishes are practically unbreakable, do not absorb odors, and can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer. Melamine dishes can be richly colored, have a glossy surface, and are very nice to touch. Melamine dishes can be washed in dishwashers, but not in microwaves. Special cleaning agents may be required to remove aggressive contaminants.
