Cutlery

This section presents the most diverse cutlery sets, serving tools. Tools are usually sold in certain packages, but we will also sell 1pc if necessary.
In order for the tools not to lose their appearance and functionality for a long time, it is necessary to maintain them properly. Cutlery is made from a wide variety of materials - stainless steel 13/0, 18/0, 18/8-18/10, silver, bone, plastic, wood, etc. Stainless steel is mostly used to make tools. Cutlery knives are usually made from 13/0 or 18/0 steel - so they can be sharpened. These alloys are not as resistant to corrosion, even though they are marked "stainless steel". It only means that steel does not rust when exposed to wet weather, but not under all other circumstances.
In dishwashers, always wash the cutlery in an upright position, with the handles facing down, never overload the dishes and tools so that the detergent cannot reach all areas. If tools are not washed immediately after use, it is necessary to remove food residues from them. Keeping unwashed tools for a long time may change the color of their surface. These changes can be removed using citric acid or special detergents.
In dishwashers, wash only one type of utensils at a time. For example, when washing silver and stainless steel tools together, in a humid environment, a reaction takes place between the different metals, during which the stainless steel transfers electrons to the silver. This leads to chemical corrosion and rusting of stainless steel. When washing tools with rusting tools, e.g. potato peelers, the rust migrates and attaches itself to the damaged parts of the tools. When washing tools lying down, using too much detergent or a wash cycle that is too short, detergent residues can remain on the tools, damaging their surface.
