Racks for tires and rims

Tires like cleanliness - they should be washed and dried well before storage. It is necessary to protect them from contact with solvents, oil or grease. Tires must also be protected from direct sunlight, intense artificial light, sparks from electric welding. The most ideal conditions are darkness, good ventilation and +15ºC. It is not advisable to place tires in tarpaulin or plastic bags, as air must circulate freely around them. Extremely wet conditions should be avoided to avoid condensation on the tires.

How to properly store tires?

There is no big difference in how to store tires - with rims or after removal. Tires can be stored in various ways - hanging, standing, laying on the floor or stacking them on top of each other like a well rental. The choice of storage method depends on whether the tires are rimmed or not.

Tire with rims best stored hooked through the center hole of the wheel, stacked on top of each other like a well roll, or stacked on shelves (inflated to maximum recommended).

Dismantled tires under no circumstances should they be stored in a "well" on top of each other - the sides of the tires are deformed due to the weight, so later their surface wears unevenly and much faster. Such tires can be stored only vertically, placing them as freely as possible on the floor or on a large shelf. When storing the tires in this way, it is advisable to periodically rotate them so that they do not deform.

Tires with rims can be stored on racks with traditional shelves or using various holders, while tires without rims are most conveniently stored in special rod racks - this is one of the cheapest and most efficient ways to store tires.

METALSYSTEM (Italy) galvanized steel racks for tires and rims are extremely strong and stable. They do not require any additional springs or reinforcements. Racks are only 40 cm deep, therefore, for safety, it is advised to fasten them to the wall, base, or to connect separate rows of racks.

The step of changing the height of the shelf is only 33 mm, so the racks can be adapted to store tires of any diameter. You can choose 90 -  150cm long shelves.

After building one rack module, the second one is connected to the same rack, so the additional module is cheaper. The racks are assembled very easily, without any screws. We deliver the stands already assembled - you only need to hook the oval crossbars at the desired height.

Stored tires protrude beyond the rack, so these racks are placed slightly away from the wall or from each other.
