30cm wide, 40-80cm deep galvanized steel shelf covers are hung on two crossbars installed at the same level. 2.5cm high, covers designed for extremely heavy loads firmly fit into the grooves at the top of the crossbars and do not protrude above them. The reinforcing edges of the covers remain below, between the crossbars. This type of covers is made of thicker tin, has larger reinforcing edges than conventional, 45, 60, 90cm wide shelf covers, but as a result the height of the shelf does not increase.
The covers are hung in the grooves formed on the inside of the crossbars, so their net depth is slightly less than the total depth of the shelf. It is indicated in parentheses.
