Description
Modular 120 x 360 x 50cm BED raised beds are made of 1,5mm thick COR-TEN® steel. Their inner side is covered with an anti-corrosion coating, it is installed in the upper root zone 2,5cm thick FINNFOAM® insulating layer of extruded polystyrene foam, protecting against moisture evaporation, overheating/cooling of plants. The parts are connected to each other with stainless steel screws. To extend the bed - just order the desired length side details.
BED parts are supplied without the formed protective layer of rust. Once the parts are installed, they are constantly when wetting ir drying up, a protective layer of patina begins to form within a few days, and after ~ a month, the parts are fairly completely covered with a layer of rust. A fully protective layer is formed ~ after two years. If this protective layer is damaged, it repairs itself. If you can't wait, or BED must be installed in public spaces, with the help of additional measures we will be able to form this layer in just a few days!
Fill the flower beds with the right mixture so that you can enjoy the excellent appearance of the plants for many years. It is extremely important that the mixture is light, porous and nutritious. We recommend that you choose our neutral ones pH mixtures, which consist of peat moss, peat substrate, sapropel + EPS granules and sand in different proportions. With a reserve for later filling, this flower pot will require ~ 2,4m³ of mixture.
