The instructions for the safe installation, use and maintenance of stationary steel racks have been prepared based on LST EN 15635:2009 standard, which is a technical committee of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN). CEN/TC 344 "Static steel storage systems" European standard EN 15635: 2008 national version. This standard applies to all manufacturers, all types of storage systems. The standard does not apply to storage equipment made of materials other than steel (except for certain accessories) and equipment intended for domestic use. Some rack types are only partially defined by this standard and may require more detailed specification.

When loading goods with heavy mechanical loading equipment, there is a high risk of damage. The guidelines provided in the manual will help to reduce the risk of violations and their consequences, damage, and will help users to prepare an appropriate procedure for risk assessment and safe operation of racks.

Unlike the English-language standard, 75+ pages of Lithuanian instructions are not only expanded supplementary material, but also abundantly supplemented with illustrations, which will make it much easier to absorb the information presented, even for a person who has not worked with storage equipment before.
